CHELSEA are reportedly locked in talks with Nice star Jean Michael Seri.
The 26-year-old has allegedly been personally chosen by Blues owner Roman Abramovich as the club’s next transfer target.
That’s according to RTL France, who claimed the Premier League side are in “advanced talks” with Seri over a move to Stamford Bridge.
The report also states that no transfer fee has yet been agreed for the midfielder, who is also wanted by Arsenal.
Seri was the standout performer at Nice last season as he helped his side to seal a place in the Champions League play-offs.
The Ivory Coast playmaker produced seven goals and nine assists to catch the eye of a number of Europe’s big guns.
Barcelona, Roma, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea’s Prem rivals Tottenham have all been linked with the African ace.
A potential switch to the Nou Camp fell through last summer at the last minute as the Catalans opted to move for Paulinho instead.

But Seri soon got over his disappointment and returned to top form.
Now it looks like he will finally depart the French South Coast, with Chelsea seemingly looking like they are leading the race for his services.
