THIBAUT COURTOIS looks set to leave Chelsea after contract negotiations stalled over a renewal.
The news comes as Alisson’s agent opened the door for a move to Stamford Bridge after denying his client had agreed to join Real Madrid.
Belgian stopper Courtois has just one year left on his current deal and the Roma ‘keeper is being lined up as a replacement, according to Sky Italia.
Courtois, 26, joined the Blues in 2011 but spent three seasons on loan at Atletico Madrid before replacing Petr Cech as Chelsea’s first-choice between the sticks.
He made 50 appearances this season for club and country but contract negotiations have hit a wall according to Sky Sports.
This adds to the uncertainty surrounding Chelsea, with manager Antonio Conte’s future in doubt and Stamford Bridge development plans put on hold.

Courtois joins an increasing list of first-team players who may be walking through the exit door at Chelsea this summer, with Willian and N’Golo Kante also linked with moves.
Alisson has starred for Roma this season, playing 50 times for the Italian club as they reached the Champions League semi-finals, and is likely to be the subject of a number of big bids after the World Cup.
Former Roma and Brazil legend Cafu said Alisson was certain to join Real Madrid but Alisson’s agent Ze Maria Neis told ForzaRoma this was not the case.
He said: “The fact that he already has an agreement with Real Madrid is completely false. I do not see how Cafu can know more than I know.
“Renewal? I have not talked to [Roma director of football] Monchi or anyone else yet.”
Liverpool are also thought to be interested in bringing the 25-year-old Alisson to Anfield.
But Courtois’ focus for now will be with his national team as Belgium prepare to face Panama, Tunisia and England at the World Cup.
