Chelsea star Willian post heart-breaking message supporting his mother fighting against cancer
CHELSEA midfielder Willian has posted a heart-breaking picture of his mother, who is fighting for cancer.
Willian, 28, played for Brazil this week in a 2-1 win World Cup 2018 qualifier against Columbia this week, and he took the chance to spend the day with his relative.
He posted on Instagram: “Today was the day to visit and spend the whole day on the other side of the this warrior.
“There are two and a half years of great struggle, surgeries, sessions of chemo and admissions are not easy, but you’re being very strong.
“And it’s that strength that I have sought all the days, when I get up for work.
“Monitor your battle from afar, it wasn’t what I wanted and if I could I would be twenty four hours by your side giving you all the love, affection and strength for you to get out of this, but unfortunately my job does not allow me.
