CHARLY MUSONDA showed he is staying grounded by rolling into Chelsea training in a modest Mini.
The Blues starlet, 20, is earning rave reviews while being backed by Didier Drogba in his quest to break into Antonio Conte‘s team.
Most of the Blues’ minted superstars can afford a mini fleet of purring motors.
But N’Golo Kante shocked fans last season when he pitched up at their Cobham base in a Mini.
Now Belgian youth star Musonda – sporting a £25,000 Mini Countryman – followed his lead by swerving a flash motor, as Conte’s players gear up for Prem action again.
And there was one more spot in the car park after Diego Costa’s was removed and dumped in a bay used by youth players.
Spain stars Alvaro Morata and Cesar Azpilicueta were also back at Cobham fresh from World Cup qualifying wins over Italy and Liechtenstein.
And Gary Cahill was returning after England laboured to wins over Slovakia and Malta.
Thibaut Courtois, driving an £80,000-plus Cadillac Escalade, would have felt good after helping Belgium qualify for Russia 2018 with wins over Gibraltar and Greece.
Brazilian winger Kenedy hasn’t been away, but was snapped using his phone as he hitched a lift in.

But he will have been watching what he clicked on social mediaBlues chiefs have rapped the youngster after he landed himself in hot water for posting “f*** China” on a pre-season tour.
While Musonda is coming up through the ranks, Kante did not even have a car when he signed for Leicester two seasons ago.
Someone gave Kante a second hand five-door Mini Cooper S – which starts at just £20,000 – to help him get around.
When Leicester sealed their incredible 5,000-1 title triumph, chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha spent nearly £2million to buy 19 BMW i8’s for the squad.
But Kante became so attached to the white Mini that he kept using it when he arrived at Chelsea in a £32m deal.
He explained: “I’ve never been someone who loves a car and when I was young I didn’t have the ambition of a car or something like that.
“But my Mini, for the beginning, was good to learn to drive on the left. I got it in Leicester. And I still have it now. But it’s good.”
Blues legend Drogba gave Musonda the thumbs-up in an Instagram post on Monday.
He said: "Nothing makes me more happy but seeing you being part of the first team of Chelsea.
"Have a great season, I'll be watching son."
Musonda came on as a substitute in Chelsea's penalty shootout defeat to Arsenal as well as their opening-day Prem defeat to Burnley.
