Chelsea target Mauro Icardi is ‘staying’ at Inter Milan, reveals wife-agent Wanda Nara on Twitter

MAURO ICARDI’S wife and agent Wanda Nara reassured a fan who was threatening to ‘kill himself’ that the striker is staying at Inter Milan.

Speculation he could leave the San Siro had grown in recent days, despite the Nerazzurri sealing a place in the Champions League.

Nara herself had fuelled those rumours in a radio interview where she revealed “big clubs are ready to pay his release clause” — which stands at £97million.

However, she has now claimed he is staying.

A desperate fan has tweeted her saying: “If Mauro doesn’t stay at Inter, I will kill myself and you will have me on your conscience.” To which she replied: “Relax … he’s staying.”

Icardi, 25, is among the best players in Serie A — but has never played in the Champions League.

It was expected he would leave this summer had they failed to secure a place in the Champions League.
