Chelsea transfer news: Blues weigh up move for versatile French midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia after star’s Inter Milan hell
Chelsea are considering a transfer move for Inter Milan midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia.
The powerful 23-year-old French international, who is also able to play at centre-back and left-back, opted to join the Serie A giants from Monaco last year despite interest from Arsenal.

But he is unhappy at not playing regularly in Milan and, with Inter in meltdown domestically, he wants to leave, according to the Mirror.
The Italians have lost six of their last nine games, and are onto their third coach of the season in Stefano Pioli after ditching Roberto Mancini in August and then his successor Frank De Boer earlier this month.

Kondogbia was left out of the Europa League defeat to Southampton just before this month’s international break, and has played just five times all season for Inter.
Kondogbia's future is up in the air, as he wants to replicate his Monaco form in the Premier League
He has already admitted he is ready to quit the San Siro if his situation doesn’t improve.
He said: “I want to be playing and to be happy. It’s normal that if the situation does not sort itself out, it would become difficult not to think about other things.”
