Chelsea will be the Premier League club most affected by a ‘hard Brexit’ – with 76 per cent of their goals scored by EU nationals
CHELSEA will be the Premier League club most affected by Brexit as they have relied heavily on players from the EU this season.
The Prime Minister Theresa May triggered Article 50 today which sees Britain formally leave the European Union – 44 years after joining.
Antonio Conte‘s men sit pretty at the top of the league, but the stats show that the Blues have depended on their European players who have scored a whopping 76% of their goals this campaign.

In addition to that, 74% of the players fielded by the West Londoners are either an EU national or hold a second EU nationality – 15% more than second-placed Manchester City.
David Luiz for example is a Brazilian international, but he also is a Portuguese citizen.
