Conor McGregor apologised to UFC boss Dana White after Floyd Mayweather defeat in emotional backstage talks


CONOR McGREGOR apologised to UFC boss Dana White backstage in the aftermath of his boxing loss to Floyd Mayweather at the weekend.

McGregor was stopped in the tenth round  by referee Robert Byrd with Mayweather well ahead on the scorecards.

And in this emotional footage filmed in The Notorious’s dressing room, he is heard saying “I’m sorry” to White, before the UFC chief kisses him on the head.

White is then heard saying: “Be proud, I’m telling you, you’re unbelievable.”

The Irish fighter is then offered a whisky by another member of his team, before everyone joins together in toasting the battling loser.

SunSport has exclusively revealed that McGregor is set to treat his family to a luxury holiday in the Bahamas with his Floyd Mayweather millions.

The Notorious is currently enjoying some downtime after earning a reported £100million on his pro-boxing debut last month.

McGregor, 29, has hired a private ‘Abramovich-type’ yacht to celebrate after a friend’s wedding on party island Ibiza – despite losing the record-breaking fight to Mayweather.
