But the state have now revealed McGregor  – who has been partying with fans in Sin City – could be suspended until next year.

The term can be waived if a orthopedic doctor gives him clearance over concerns on injuries to his left ankle.

McGregor had to use crutches after the brutal contest against Diaz but The Notorious claimed there was no fracture on his ankle.

Diaz only received a 30-day suspension as his injuries were mostly superficial cuts and lacerations.

Conor McGregor could face six months out unless he gets a injury clearance

The minimum suspension for McGregor means he will be out of action until late October at the earliest while no contact is allowed until October 5.

That could mean McGregor would struggle to compete at UFC 205 in New York on November 12 with such a short training camp.
