Conor McGregor fans create fake passes and sneak past Madison Square Garden security before watching fighter make history at UFC 205

TWO committed UFC fans weren’t going to let the huge price-tag stop them from watching the likes of Conor McGregor at UFC 205.

With tickets to watch the Irishman taking on Eddie Alvarez in fierce demand, prices ranged from £200 to a whopping £1200.

But for two fans, who didn't have the money to stump up ticket costs, that wasn't going to stop them from getting in on the action.

The duo used an ingenious ploy to make fake passes in order to sneak into the lucrative Madison Square Garden - before sharing their story over Snapchat.

Known as Shane Dillion and his friend Kaelin, they took pictures of existing press credentials, reproduced them, and used the replicas to walk right past security.

Without wanting to blow their cover, the two kept a low profile and chose to watch the fight from a distance before sitting down in second row to watch the press conferences.

And they were not left disappointed as McGregor claimed an historic win to become the first ever dual-weight champion.
