Conor McGregor labels Floyd Mayweather ‘a rat’ as UFC star clings to hope of rematch

Conor McGregor continues his beef with Floyd Mayweather by calling the former pound for pound king “a rat.”

McGregor is planning a comeback to the UFC as the MMA star needs to schedule a defence for his lightweight title as soon as possible.

UFC boss Dana White said if McGregor doesn’t fight until August or September, the Irishman wouldn’t of defended his lightweight crown in over two years.

“Conor has some big decisions to make here, really quick.

“If he waits — I don’t think Conor wants to fight until August, but if he waits until August or September, that’s around two years since the belt has been defended, and that can’t happen.”

“As long as Conor is willing to [book a] fight by March, we could do Khabib (Nurmagomedov) versus Tony (Ferguson).
