Conor McGregor’s teammate Charlie Ward set for Octagon debut at UFC Belfast


CONOR McGregor’s teammate Charlie Ward is all set for his Octagon debut – and it’s coming earlier than expected.

Ward, who trains out of the same SBG gym in Dublin as UFC superstar McGregor, was originally slated to take on Randy Brown at UFC Fight Night in Albany on December 9.

But UFC officials have rebooked the Irishman to compete much closer to home.

SunSport have received official confirmation from the UFC that Ward will now make his Octagon debut at UFC Fight Night in Belfast on Saturday November 19 against fellow newcomer Razak Alhassan.
