Reports in Spain suggest reaching the last four is 5.6m — while victory alone amounts to £1.2m.

The ten-times winners fell to a shock 2-0 defeat in Germany, before Ronaldo’s treble in Madrid saw them become only the ninth team in the competition’s history to overturn a first-leg deficit of two goals or more.

Ronaldo netted levelled the score with a quick-fire double 88 seconds part — before ensuring it was his side who progressed 13 minutes from time.

His tie-winning performance at the Bernabeu saw him net his 15th Champs Lge goal of the campaign — an amount on he has achieved — for a second time.

It was the former Manchester United ace’s 41st career hat-trick.

And it also put him on five for the Champs Lge, equalling Lionel Messi’s record tally.

On top of all that, it also made him the first player to net three trebles in one season.

It’s getting close to the point where there are no records left for Ronaldo to break.

Although, digging deep, we have managed to find a few.
