CRYSTAL PALACE have snapped up Getafe goalkeeper Vicente Guaita on a free transfer.
The 31-year-old has penned a three-year deal at Selhurst Park, and will officially become an Eagles player on July 1.

Guaita kept 12 clean sheets out of 34 matches in La Liga this season as he helped the Deep Blues to an eighth placed finish.
Speaking of the signing, Palace chairman Steve Parish said: “We are delighted to sign one of La Liga’a best goalkeepers and pleased that we beat off the competition for his signature.
“We very much look forward to Vicente joining in pre-season training and helping us push on in the Premier League.”
He is expected to battle Welsh international Wayne Hennessey for the No 1 spot under Roy Hodgson next season.

Before moving to Getafe in 2014, Guaita spent six years at Valencia, where he racked up 114 appearances in all competions, as well as starring on loan for Recreativo in 2009.
Palace were linked with an £8million switch for the Spanish shot-stopper in January, but failed to lure him to England.
