DANI CARVAJAL was sent off after a producing a brilliant El Clasico save – and Twitter responded by claiming he is a better goalkeeper than Simon Mignolet.

Real Madrid defender Carvajal saw red after a stunning one-handed stop to deny Paulinho from heading Barcelona into a two-goal lead today.

Carvajal’s instinctive stop showed his reflexes were at their best, and caught the eye of fans who have seen Mingolet’s struggles for Liverpool.

And he produced yet another howler last night to gift Arsenal their second goal in the thrilling 3-3 draw with Liverpool at the Emirates.
