Dele Alli X BoohooMAN – the stylish Spurs star has launched a clothing collection and we want it all

It’s no secret that BoohooMAN likes a good collaboration and after releasing successful collections with rappers Tyga and French Montana, the Manchester-based retailer has hit the ball out of the park for Spring 2018.

The next style icon to step up is none other than the star footballer Dele Alli.

Dele Alli’s collection with BoohooMAN consists of a LOT of bomber jackets including this cool satin number

The Tottenham player has showed us time and time again that he has style, often sporting designer togs by the likes of Saint Laurent, Givenchy, Off-White and Dsquared2.

But nothing beats the great British high street.

Alli has worked closely with the design team at BoohooMAN to create a collection inspired by his own personal style – which is a unique blend of preppy Americana with a touch of urban, streetwear cool.

He said: ‘‘I was extremely excited when BoohooMAN approached me to collaborate. Fashion has always been an interest of mine and it was great to be able to play a part in the design process. I’m really looking forward for everyone to see the collection. ’’

Dropping online today is a collection of 74 pieces starting from as little as £12 – shop it here.

And it’s a bold offering for a bold Boohoo man – we are loving the soft pastel colours and lustrous satin fabrics – but for those who don’t want to peacock, there are lots of low-key looks on sale.

The key staples are skinny jeans with moto panels (an Alli signature), layered gold chains, distressed jersey pieces, relaxed 1990s-inspired shirts and hell of a lot of bomber jackets – because you can never have enough.

The real star of the collection is a £100 limited edition suede jacket which we predict we sell out in seconds.

Here are our favourite looks:

Varsity

Dele Alli’s collection for BoohooMAN sees streetwear styles mixed with preppier pieces like this varsity jacket and checked trousers

For a comfortable, casual look that still looks streamlined, these checked trousers are just the ticket. Teamed with this striped varsity jacket and trainers, this tailored pair feel laid-back – but you can smarten them up in seconds for a night out.

Double denim

BoohooMAN X Dele Alli
Dele Alli has been known to swap a suit for double denim on the red carpet – now he’s re-created this look for BooooMAN

Back in November at the MTV EMA awards, Alli swapped his suit for a Texan tuxedo (double denim) by Amiri on the red carpet. He’s re-created this look in his BoohooMAN collection, giving it a washed black finish and distressed detailing to keep it feeling youthful and urban.

Trophy

Dele Alli x BoohooMAN collection
Star Spurs player Dele Alli is no stranger to a trophy and this satin bomber jacket is based on classic trophy styles from the 1980s

A hero piece in the collection, this trophy bomber jacket nods to the 1980s (and Alessandro Michele’s Gucci numbers) with its contrast sleeves, slick satin fabric and striped webbing. Dress it down like Dele Alli with a distressed T-shirt, vintage-look jeans and chunky dad trainers.

Dele Alli’s collection for BoohooMAN has a fresh, urban feel that’s perfect for summer in the city

We’ve spotted fellow footballer’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Granit Xhaka in camo-print bomber jackets so you know they’re hot property. This version is trimmed with tricolour webbing – team it with moto-panelled skinnies and sunglasses this summer.

Going for gold

No smoke and mirrors here – take tips from Dele Alli’s styling and learn to layer

Here’s where Alli can help you with styling – the secret is to layer. Unbutton a grungey checked shirt to expose a longline white T-shirt and throw a bomber on over the top – this gold number is guaranteed to turn heads.
