Eden Hazard fashion: how to dress like the Chelsea footballer for a fraction of the cost

CONSIDERING his dazzling wing play, it might not be too surprising that Eden Hazard likes to show a little flair off the pitch with his wardrobe.

The Chelsea star is coming off another impressive season for the Blues, where he hit double digit goals including the winner in the FA Cup final.

And the 27-year-old is braced for a big summer as he’ll be key to Belgium’s chances at the World Cup in Russia.

Although England fans will be hoping he’s not up to his terrifying best when the Three Lions take on Belgium in their final Group G game on June 28.

When Hazard’s not on the pitch, he tends to dress up (or down) in designer labels when he’s out and about.

But if you don’t want to splash out on Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci or Tommy Hilfiger, we’ve recreated some of Hazard’s best looks using high-street alternatives.

Red hot

Eden Hazard often accessorises with a trilby

Hazard certainly gets creative when he goes out on the town. He even has us warming to the trilby…one type of hat we thought was best left to Justin Timberlake circa 2004.

Spotted out and about in London, the Chelsea winger rocked some big designer pieces costing him a over a grand.

He wore a quilted Dolce & Gabbana bomber trimmed with striped webbing and a pair of Gucci leather trainers embossed all over with the iconic ‘GG’ logo.

They were both the same shade of scarlet red – so he wasn’t worried about blending into the crowd then.

  • Slim-leg jeans, £35 from River Island – buy here
  • Bomber jacket, £24 from Boohoo – buy here

Boohoo’s collection with French Montana boasts some seriously  great bombers.

Like this red number here, it’s cut in the same shape as Hazard’s and trimmed with striped webbing but it will cost you £606 less than the real deal.

  • Straw trilby, £25 from Marks and Spencer – buy here
  • Leather trainers, £44.99 from Lacoste at M and M Direct – buy here

Lacoste’s trainers are the same red hot shade and have similiar navy stripes to the Gucci ones.

And, of course, the outfit wouldn’t be complete without the straw trilby.

Tommy tracksuit

Even to training, Eden Hazard likes to wear big brands like Tommy Hilfiger and Gucci

When he’s not in London training with Chelsea, Hazard is in Belgium with his national team.

And even when he’s heading to training, the winger looks the part in chic but sporty get-up.

This retro track top is from Tommy Hilfiger and the suitcase is Gucci but the star keeps things (slightly) down to earth, grounding his look with a pair of £80 trainers.

Buy his exact pair, Nike Air Jordan 1, on ASOS here.

  • Tracksuit bottoms, £55 from Reebok at ASOS – buy here
  • Tricolor track jacket, £27.50 from Reclaimed Vintage at ASOS – buy here

We’ve found a dead ringer for Hazard’s Tommy tracksuit.

Reclaimed Vintage do a tricolor red, navy and white zip-up jacket for only £27.50 in the sale – snap it up before it sells out.

Undercover

Eden Hazard likes a tracksuit or two – here he is in Nike

Another day, another tracksuit.

This time Hazard keeps it a little low-key with an all-grey jersey affair from  Nike.

He complements the look with a Khaki green Yankee cap and a pair of Nike Air Max 90 – buy his exact pair here for £99 on END Clothing.

Still, we couldn’t help but notice that giant Gucci suitcase that set him back a whopping £1875…not so low-key after all.

  • Tracksuit, from £17.99 from Stradivarius at ASOS – buy here
  • Holdall, £35.10 from Conka London at Debenhams – buy here

Stradivarius do a similar tracksuit made from soft grey jersey with a hooded pullover top and skinny-fit joggers.

You can buy the whole set for £37.98 or separates from as little as £17.99.

  • Mesh trainers, £34.99 from Asics at Foot Asylum – buy here
  • Baseball cap, £17 from JD Sports – buy here

Of course, you’ve got to accessorise your look with some cool camo-green pieces like this Yankee cap – which is exactly the same as Hazard’s.

The trainers you can nab for less: Asics’ khaki mesh low-tops look identical to Nike’s classic Air Max £90 but they cost £64 less.

Ballers

Chelsea players Eden Hazard and Kurt Zouma at an NBA game in London

From one ball to another.

Here’s Hazard with Chelsea teammate Kurt Zouma at an NBA Basketball game in London.

The players were all smiles as they posed for a picture on the court.

While Zouma stood tall in Louis Vuitton beanie, Hazard kept it grounded with a pair of Timberland boots – they still set him back a cool £175 though.

  • Suede lace-up boots, £70 from Jack & Jones at ASOS – buy here
  • Leather-trimmed baseball jacket, £41.50 from Stradivarius at ASOS – buy here

Save yourself £100 and buy these Jack & Jones boots instead.

Made from sandy nubuck suede, trimmed with brown leather and detailed with a cleated sole, this pair looks just like the real deal.

  • Faded slim-leg jeans, £30 from River Island – buy here
  • Printed Mos Def T-shirt, £14.79 from Red Bubble- buy here

We’ve got no clue who the guy is on Hazard’s T-shirt so we’ve opted for an icon of our own.

This black T-shirt is printed with rapper Mos Def’s face and it’s a bargain at £14.79.
