BLUNDERING FA bigwigs listed Harry Kane as one of the World Cup’s heaviest players.
Red-faced officials gave the wrong data to Fifa, meaning the England captain’s weight was logged on the official squad list as 98kg (15st 6lb).
That made Kane — who is only 89kg (14st) — the joint-second heaviest player of the 32 nations heading to Russia.
Panama’s Roman Torres topped the scales at 99kg (15st 8lb) with Three Lions defender Harry Maguire listed as the same weight as striker Kane.
This is the second FA gaffe involving Kane after the mocking tweet that followed Tottenham’s FA Cup semi-final defeat to Manchester United.
The FA Cup Twitter account posed the question: “What’s in your pocket, Chris?” — and linked a video of United defender Chris Smalling saying: “Harry Kane”.
An embarrassed FA was forced to apologise.
Jordan Pickford was the clear winner as England revealed their squad numbers for Russia.
