England’s Six Nations heroes including George Ford and Jonathan Joseph SNUBBED from Lions tour
ENGLAND’S Six Nations heroes are set to be snubbed for the Lions tour.
Fly-half George Ford is the most high-profile Red Rose name tipped to miss out when boss Warren Gatland names his squad at noon tomorrow.
But Jonathan Joseph — who scored a hat-trick of tries against Scotland — Mike Brown, James Haskell and Joe Launchbury are also likely to be overlooked for the three-Test series against the All Blacks.
England captain Dylan Hartley is also sweating on a place at hooker with Ireland skipper Rory Best and Wales’ Ken Owens vying for places along with England second choice Jamie George.
Chris Robshaw, the former captain who was one of the star men for Eddie Jones’ record-breaking unbeaten run of Test victories last year, is also likely to be omitted.

England are still expected to provide most players for the squad with at least 12 on Gatland's 38-man list.
Gatland's squad arrive in New Zealand ahead of their opening tour match on June 3.
