BEN TE’O is out of England’s tour to South Africa after becoming the latest star to suffer a training-ground injury.
Eddie Jones’ methods were slammed by Bath owner Bruce Craig last week after prop Beno Obano was ruled out for up to a YEAR with a hamstring and knee injury.
And Lions ace Te’o now needs surgery – joining the ever-growing list of casualties crocked in practice.
The cagey Red Rose camp said the Worcester Warriors centre needed a “small repair to quad muscle”.
In total 34 players will travel to the southern hemisphere on Saturday after the inclusion of Wasps No8 Nathan Hughes, Northampton Saints centre Piers Francis and Gloucester full-back Jason Woodward.
The trio of new names replace Te’o, Cameron Redpath and Jack Willis who are also crocked.
