Everton transfer news: Juventus reject £25.5million bid from Toffees for Daniele Rugani


JUVENTUS have rejected a £25.5million bid from Everton for Daniele Rugani.

According to Calciomercato.com, the Serie A champions turned down the offer as they are unwilling to sell the defender this summer.

The Toffees’ Premier League rivals Arsenal and Italian giants Napoli have also been told Rugani, 21, is not for sale.

Rugani joined Juve last summer after impressing at the heart of the defence for boyhood club Empoli.

The 6ft 2″ centre back made 17 appearances in Serie A for Juve last year.

Rugani has also been linked with La Liga side Valencia.

Although the bid was rejected, Toffees fans can at least see signs of where new owner  Farhad Moshiri wants to take the club.

The Goodison Park club have substantial transfer funds for the summer and have been linked with a number of players.
