SWANSEA CITY are considering a move for ex-Arsenal star Johan Djourou.
The Swans are still bottom of the Premier League despite Monday night’s impressive 1-0 win over Liverpool.
And new boss Carlos Carvalhal hopes to strengthen his defence as they fight to stay up.
Reports in Switzerland now claim Carvalhal has set his sights on Djourou, who now plays for Turkish club Antalyaspor.
Two unnamed Championship clubs, as well as Swiss sides Lausanne and Sion, are also understood to be on the centre-back’s trail.
The 31-year-old spent nine seasons with the Gunners, making 140 senior appearances and scoring one goal.

Switzerland international Djourou has also had loan spells with Birmingham City and Hannover, and ended a four-year stint with Hamburg when moving to Turkey last summer.
But Djourou has experienced problems with being paid, with the Super Lig club plunging into a financial crisis.

Now recovered from a thigh injury, he is seeking a move for the sake of his World Cup prospects despite having 18 months left on his contract.
Djourou’s agent Costa Bonato said: “Being able to play at the World Cup finals is uppermost in Johan’s mind.
“Antalyaspor owe him a lot of money, and he will stay – but only if they can guarantee to pay his salary.
“But if not we will forget about the money if they let Johan leave on a free transfer.”
