Fifa 17: Fastest player on game revealed as Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – with only three Premier League stars in Top 20

FOOTBALLERS these days seem to care more about their fictional Fifa 17 ratings than their real-life attributes – look at Harry Kane’s hugely disappointed reaction when he first saw his stats.

Cristiano Ronaldo is the best player in the wildly popular game for the first time since Fifa 09, ousting Lionel Messi,  while Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the best Premier League player.

The quickest player ratings have just been released, a popular stat for players as on the game pace tends to rule supreme – and there are only three Premier League stars on the Top 20 list.

Good news for Arsenal fans as right-back Hector Bellerin is officially the quickest player in the top flight, with a pace rating of 95.

In fact the only other two Premier League stars in the Top 20 are Leicester’s Ahmed Musa and Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling.

The likes of Gunners’ winger Theo Walcott, Manchester United’s rapid right back Antonio Valencia and England paceman Kyle Walker are surprisingly nowhere to be seen.

There are some well-known names on the list such as Barcelona’s Jordi Alba in 16th with 93 pace, and Real Madrid and Wales hero Gareth Bale in 7th with 94 – but there are also some unknown players with not overly impressive stats except for speed.

Aubameyang is one of two players with a 96 pace rating – and the game’s other top speedster is somewhat less famous in the form of Norweigan-born Ivory Coast midfielder Mathis Bolly who plays for Greuther Furth in the German second tier.
