Fifa 17: Tottenham and England striker Harry Kane can’t hide his despair over ‘low’ rating on upcoming edition of game

TOTTENHAM striker Harry Kane couldn’t help but get excited about finally finding out his official Fifa 17 rating…

But unfortunately for him, he also couldn’t help show his anguish when the Fifa Ultimate Team board flipped over to reveal a respectable 84.

The rating puts Kane in the top 25 Premier League players on the 2016-17 edition of the famous video game – released later this month.

But that wasn’t good enough as far as the England man was concerned… And perhaps he has a point following his heroics last season.

The Spurs striker may have endured a lean spell during this summer’s European Championships – which has run over into the 2016-17 season – but he netted an astonishing 25 goals in the Premier League last term.

That’s one more than title-winning Leicester forward Jamie Vardy and Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero, both on 24.

More embarrassingly for Kane was his pre-reveal hype – claiming his stats ‘should be up there’.

Yet when he found out the rating of 84, only six behind the Prem’s top rated player, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, his face visibly dropped and he sighs in torment.

Kane added he believed his shooting rating – set at 84 – ‘should definitely be in the 90s’, while he was also unhappy by his 71-rated passing and his low 42-rated defending.

Eventually Kane admits the rating is ‘half-decent’, but we all know he’ll be dwelling on that one over-night.
