FOOTBALL fans queued late at night so they could get their hands on a copy of FIFA 18.
The wildly popular video game, the world’s biggest seller, will not be fully released until September 29.
But Game opened 250 of their shops across the UK just before midnight to let eager customers in and grab an early version of the game – the Ronaldo Edition.
The release came three days ahead of schedule and offers other additional perks.
One of the main attractions for the hundreds of fans that descended on the stores was that three day head-start.
But buyers also got Cristiano Ronaldo on loan for five FIFA Ultimate Team matches and eight special edition FUT kits, designed by artists from the soundtrack.
Although it cost £79.99 in store, those who bought it also get 20 Jumbo Premium Gold Packs – one per week for 20 weeks – which are worth £46.

Ronaldo Edition
It is available to play from today, Tuesday 26 September – giving you three whole days of early access.
You can buy from PlayStation Store for £79.99, Microsoft Store for £79.99 or Origin for £69.99 to download the game. This was available to download from 12.01am.
Icon Edition
The Icon edition boasts the most features… but also the highest price-tag.
It was also available to play from today, September 26 with three days early access.
There are up to 40 FIFA Ultimate Team Jumbo Premium Gold Packs – two per week over 20 weeks – worth up to £89.99.
Three match FUT Team of the Week loan player – one three match loan player for 20 weeks.
You get Cristiano Ronaldo FUT loan player for five matches and Brazilian Ronaldo Icon loan player for five matches.
Also included is eight special edition FUT kits designed by FIFA soundtrack artists.
Standard edition
Is released to buy on Friday.
Included is five FIFA Ultimate Team Jump Premium Gold Packs – one per week for five weeks worth £12.
You get Cristiano Ronaldo FUT loan player for five matches.
And eight special edition FUT kits designed by FIFA soundtrack artists.
