FIFA 18 five-star players revealed as EA Sports announce the trickiest stars on the market… and there’s some surprises

EA SPORTS have announced the most skillful players in FIFA 18 – and Lionel Messi DOES NOT make the cut.

The gaming giant revealed their five-star skill players, those capable of pulling of the toughest skill moves in the game.

But while big rival Cristiano Ronaldo and former team-mate Neymar made the cut, five-time Ballon d’Or winner Messi misses out on FIFA 18.

He is rated at four stars for his skill moves.

And it seems that the Premier League is lacking those flair players that so excite crowds – there are only five players rated at five stars currently playing their trade in the English top flight.

They are Manchester United start Paul Pogba, Leicester winger Riyad Mahrez, Southampton’s Sofiane Boufal, injured Everton star Yannick Bolasie and, surprisingly, Chelsea youngster Charly Musonda.

There are no British players on the list, but there is one Irishman.

Former Celtic and Everton star Aiden McGeady – who has played for Sheffield Wednesday and Preston North End in the last two seasons – is on the list.

That's right, the Sunderland man is rated more skillful than Lionel Messi.

Elsewhere, Premier League fans will remember Ricardo Quaresma, Nani, Hatem Ben Arfa, Juan Cuadrado and Oussama Assaidi

The likes of Eden Hazard, Gareth Bale, Alexis Sanchez and Antoine Griezmann are rated alongside Messi with four stars.

However, the likes of Thabo Rakhale, Giorgi Chanturia and Elton do make the five-star list.
