FIFA have called on clubs from all over the globe to hold a minute’s silence before they kick off their matches this weekend to remember the victims of the Colombia plane crash.
71 of the 77 passengers lost their lives in the accident, including 19 players from Brazilian top flight side Chapecoense.
The team were on their way to play the first leg of the Copa Sudamericana final first leg, the South American equivalent of the Europa League.
Its a tragic moment for football with Fifa also asking players to wear black armbands to remembers those have died in this horrific incident .

The crash has shocked football with players, coaches and supporters mourning the deaths of the Chapecoense players who had achieved great things this season.
