Floyd Mayweather lapping up retirement as he flaunts £78,000 slot machine jackpot in Las Vegas casino

FLOYD MAYWEATHER seems to be taking retirement in his stride as he flaunts his £78,000 slot machine jackpot.

The American boxer confirmed he had hung up his gloves after taking his undefeated record to 50-0 by defeating Conor McGregor.

And it looks like Mayweather, 40, has luck on side out of the ring after taking the machine for all it's cash — after already winning £54,000.

Mayweather said: "There's $70,000 here, but I just hit the jackpot right here."

That would put Mayweather's total takings from the casino to a massive £131,000.

He then posted a video of himself with his stacks of cash saying he was heading to his strip club Girl Collection.

The Michagan-born fighter ended his feud with UFC star McGregor in the tenth round of the blockbuster clash in Las Vegas.

But it seems it was the man they call Money's back account that was the real winner.

It is thought Mayweather is now worth around $1BILLION, or £772million.

So the £830,000 win from the slots may not be as life-changing to him as it would be to most people.

His fight with McGregor, which was watched in over 200 countries, tipped Mayweather over the ten figure mark.

The Las Vegas showdown was worth around £540m after pay-per-view figures, making it the richest in boxing history by far.

Mayweather pocketed £230m from the scrap as he smashed his own pay-per-view sales by two million.

In the UK, viewers were being charged £19.95 to tune in whilst in America around 6.6million fight fans forked out a shocking £76 to watch the scrap.

Mayweather held the previous record for his fight against Manny Pacquiao in 2015 when he took home a whopping £193m.

The five-weight world champ has never been afraid to flaunt his wealth with his two private jets and fleet of luxury cars.

But he showed his caring side by taking out his entourage and treating them to Gucci shoes and picking up the bill.
