Floyd Mayweather reveals ‘unbelievable’ series of fan tattoos in tribute to 50-0 boxing legend

FLOYD MAYWEATHER has revealed an “unbelievable” series of fan tattoos in tribute to the 50-0 boxing legend.

“Money” has seen a host of his legendary fights, including the likes of Ricky Hatton and Oscar De La Hoya, have been immortalised in the impressive inkings.

On Friday, Mayweather, 40, uploaded a host of his favourite tribute tatts to his social media.

The boxing legend took to Instagram to share the fan images – and appeared to be chuffed with his loyal supporters.

He captioned the post: “I truly love & appreciate my fans! This tattoo artist is unbelievable.”

One of the more colourful bits of body-art depicts Mayweather’s fight with De La Hoya in 2007 – with “Money” wearing a red and green robe, complete with sombrero.

The American boxer donned the provocative attire for the fight a decade ago in a bid to rile up his opponent.

It seemed to work as Mayweather won the split decision bout – the then richest fight in the sport’s history.

Since that fight - to make his record 38-0 - "Money" has gone on to beat British star Hatton, Shane Mosley, Canelo Alvarez, Manny Pacquiao and, of course, Conor McGregor.

His career earnings are now reported to top £800million ($1billion).

One fan took that as a challenge, getting inked with the face of Mayweather surrounded by 100 dollar bills.

Another supporter even went through the painful process of having his entire back etched with "Money" memories.

Colin Hart's verdict: Alvarez to win on points, 2/1

I HAVE the distinct feeling Golovkin has passed his peak.

So it is poker-faced Alvarez on points for me. But he is wise enough to know if he should lose concentration for a second he will end up flat out on the canvas.
