Footballer accidentally thanks his wife AND girlfriend in arguably the greatest Man of the Match speech of all time

YOU have to assume this chap is in for a world of pain when he gets home…

Following a starring role in Friday night’s South African Premier Division match, Free State Stars forward Mohammed Anas gave possibly the best Man of the Match speech of all-time.

It all started perfectly innocently as he thanks his fans and wife… before also thanking his GIRLFRIEND.

Immediately after the clearly-accidental slip of the mind – and tongue – Anas backtracks in the most grovelling of ways, repeating over and over again how much he loves his wife.

The Ghanaian striker - who not only scored twice on the pitch, has apparently done so off it - said: "I appreciate my fans, my wife and my girlfriend.

"I mean my wife! Sorry to say, I'm so sorry, my wife.

"I love you so much. I love you so much from my heart."
