Eyebrows were raised when the Italy international swapped Southampton and the Premier League for a switch to China, but he has clearly kept his goalscoring prowess with him.

After netting five goals in 12 games so far this season, this was certainly the most impressive.

With his back still to goal, he flicks the ball over his, and the defender's head, before crashing a right-foot volley past the opposition goalkeeper.

That wonder-goal came in the 76th minute and was worthy of winning any game.

Sadly for Pelle and his team-mates, Chongqing Lifan's Emmanuel Gigliotti had other ideas, and levelled things up with five minutes to go to salvage a point.
