FORMER Wimbledon champion Marion Bartoli showed off healthier figure this week after a dramatic weight loss sparked fears amongst fans a year ago.
This time 12 months ago, supporters were left stunned after the French former tennis star, 32, lost three stone.
More worrying yet, Bartoli defended herself, describing it as a “natural” weight loss.

In June, after fans were left worried by her new look at Wimbledon, she said: “It has happened naturally.
“My natural frame is quite tiny, that is the way my mum and dad are.
“I have just gone back to my natural shape. All that shows you is the amount of effort I had to put in to become the tennis player I was.”
Bartoli was forced to cancel her ladies’ invitational doubles exhibition match at the All England Club for medical reasons.
She later revealed the weight loss was down to illness after she posted a series of images of herself in hospital.
In January of this year, Bartoli posted pictures of herself looking like her old self on Twitter, much to fans’ relief.
She captioned the snaps: “Ready to #jump in #2017.
“Thanks so much to all of u for your support during this very difficult #2016, as u can see feeling a lot better.”
On Wednesday she made an appearance at the French Open, with supporters relieved to see her looking well.
Alongside Iva Majoli, Bartoli defeated Conchita Martinez and Chanda Rubin in their first game of their Group B Legends Double tournament.
Bartoli and Majoli will next face Tracey Austin and Kim Clijsters.
