EUROPE may have looked shaky on the greens over the weekend, but Gareth Bale proved he’s a dab hand with a putter.
Taking time out ahead of his country’s World Cup qualifiers against Austria and Georgia, the Welsh wizard took on an indoor putting green at the Vale Resort.
Bale, who plays off an impressive handicap of six, was joined by three of his Welsh teammates – Andy King, Wayne Hennessey and Joe Ledley.
The Real Madrid superstar who recently became the third quickest player this century to reach half a century of La Liga goals for Los Blancos in their 1-1 draw with Eibar, could have been inspired to take to the greens after a dramatic weekend at Hazeltine.

It’s no secret that the 27-year-old is mad about his golf, earlier this year he skipped the Ballon d’Or ceremony in favour of taking his driver out to play a round in Zurich.

Wales take on Austria in Vienna on Thursday evening before taking on Georgia in Cardiff Sunday afternoon.
