Geordie Shore Aaron Chalmers impresses with ferocious 30 SECOND knockout of Alex Thompson for second MMA victory


AARON CHALMERS knocks out opponent Alex Thompson in just 30 seconds with a ferocious left-right combination.

The reality TV star entered the ring at BAMMA 31 tonight for just his second professional bout.

The 30-year-old kicked the action off quickly and ended the fight with a strong left paw, followed by a right-hand finisher.

Prior to the fight, shown on Dave, ‘The Joker’ said he would end the fight quickly – and he done exactly that.

After celebrating in the ring, Chalmers said: “What can I say, a knockout – didn’t even break a sweat.

“Once again, I’ve shut a few people up.

“I’m glad to be here, glad to be on the big stage and glad to get the knockout.”

He put together a cluster of punches within 30 seconds that will certainly silent critics – who originally have labelled his fighting career as a PR stunt.

'The Joker' stepped in with the jab, turned, whipped his left shoulder through and completed the combination with a strong left hand.

The Toon lad was being supported from outside of the ring by a number of his Geordie Shore colleagues and friends.

After watching the fight from ringside, boxing veteran David Haye said:"There are highlight reel knockouts, and then there are knockouts like that.

"Any MMA fighter in the world would be happy with a knockout like that.

"Certain people are made to fight, but they don't realise this until later in their life.

"Imagine if he had realised this 10 years ago. He could have been world champion by now."

Chalmers beat last opponent Greg Jenkins in the first round and he appears to have a bright future in MMA.
