It was a hugely impressive performance from the Ex on the Beach star as he looked calm and composed as he proved to be too strong for the Liverpudlian.

He seemed a natural inside the cage as he showed classy punch combinations as well as proving superior when he took the fight to the floor.

Chalmers finished the contest with a Kimura armlock which forced the submission, showing he means real business in the sport, and him fighting is not just a PR stunt.

Speaking after the fight he added: "A lot of people are booing but I bet all those people booing have never made that walk and done what I did in here."

Asked what's next, Chalmers said: "Can't wait to do it all again. Have a holiday, go back into camp. Let's see what happens next."
