AARON CHALMERS has been put through the paces in training as he gears up for his next fight inside the cage.
The Geordie Shore star has racked up three first round stoppage wins in Bamma, as his stock continues to rise in MMA.
After winning by way of submission against Greg Jenkins on his debut last May, the 30-year-old has since recorded brutal KO wins inside a minute.
He took just 30 seconds to dispatch Alex Thompson, before wiping away Karl Donaldson inside 43 seconds back in December.
But the colourway fighter has drew criticism from those inside the industry, with his opponents having just three bouts inside the Octagon between them prior to bouts with him.
Chalmers is looking to silence the doubters yet again in his next outing, as he looks for a clash against former WWE champion CM Punk.
Speaking exclusively to SunSport last month, he said: “Apparently he’s still contracted to UFC. It’ll be interesting to see if he has another fight early in the year.
“If he doesn’t, I think Bellator might be looking to sign him. I’d love to do that fight later in the year.”

While the Joker also spoke of another potential fight – a clash against legendary street fighter Kimbo Slice’s son.
He added: “There’s another fighter, Baby Slice – Kimbo Slice’s son – which I think would be a hellish fight.

Chalmers has been in Geordie Shore since 2014, though he is rumoured to be leaving the show to focus on his new career.
