‘He’s got some cojones on him!’ Dominick Cruz hails Michael Bisping ahead of UFC 199 main event

DOMINICK Cruz is all set for world championship action on Saturday night when he takes on Urijah Faber in the co-main event at UFC 199.

But the bantamweight champion of the world took some time to pay tribute to British contender Michael Bisping, who challenges Luke Rockhold in the main event on Saturday night.

“Bisping’s an old G, man,” he said.

“He’s been in this game so long. He just beat a guy who’s been argued as being one of the greatest of all time, Anderson Silva – and he beat him.

“You can’t argue the gameness of Michael Bisping. You can’t. You can try – you can say oh it’s all talk, he’s this and he’s that. The dude shows up.

“And he’s not just talking any more because he’s putting himself on the line on two weeks’ notice against a master champion in Rockhold.

“Rockhold’s no joke, but he said “I’ll do it! Let’s go! I’m ready for a world title shot”.

“I can only respect that, personally. That’s not an easy thing to do.

“He’s got some cojones on him.”
