How does your Premier League team fare in the top shirt sponsors chart, with one team earning close to £50m for ONE year?

THERE have been a whole host of Premier League clubs releasing new kits this season – with last week’s speciality the third strip.

But behind the colour, the general design and the revenue clubs hope to make from the new release, there is always one pay-day regardless… The shirt sponsor.

As obvious as the branding is, sometimes it is easy to forget clubs are being paid to be emblazoned with their company name.

However, some get a little more than others… Well, a LOT more than others in reality.

Let’s start from the bottom, and run down every Premier League team’s kit sponsor – and revenue created – for the 2016-17 season.

In joint bottom come Premier League new-boys Middlesbrough alongside – incredibly – the reigning CHAMPIONS Leicester at £1million apiece.

Not a bad pay-day, I’m sure many a fan would love a cushty £1m cheque to wear a particular brand for a year…

But compared to the big boys, it’s a mere drop in the ocean; but we’re getting ahead of ourselves.

In 18th spot are Watford at £1.5m, with Burnley and Bournemouth slightly further up the table at £2m apiece.

West Brom take home £2.5m, with promoted Hull raking in £3m just behind Stoke on £3.2m per season.

Swansea and Crystal Palace keep up their mid-table show at £4m and £5m each, while Everton can depend on £5.3m in their bank account this season.

Getting towards the business end, West Ham, Sunderland and Southampton will bag £6m this season – with the Saints taking home £5m more than last season after their stunning showing in the league in 2015-16.

From there, it’s a big leap into the top six as Tottenham rake in £16m, while Manchester City get a cheeky £25m pay-day this term.

Liverpool will be thrilled to make it into the top four in the league under Jurgen Klopp – but they already have in the sponsors chart, at a whopping £25m.

Arsenal take home £30m courtesy of Fly Emirates, while Chelsea take the No2 spot thanks to Yokohama at £40m.

In the top spot, Manchester United are top of the rich list, raking in £47m from US car manufacturer Chevrolet… A £46m bump on current Prem champs Leicester.
