Inside drug cheat Lance Armstrong’s luxury £5.3m five-bedroom mansion complete with outdoor pool, spa and climate-controlled wine cellar
DRUG cheat Lance Armstrong has put his picturesque five-bedroom mansion on the market for a cut-price £5.3m.
The disgraced cyclist had tried to flog the seven-bathroom house in Austin, Texas, back in January 2016, but failed to find a buyer.
He has now taken £530,000 off the asking price of the 1924 property, which comes with a climate-controlled wine cellar and outdoor pool.
It also comes with seven living areas, spa and poolhouse with its own bathroom and kitchenette along with and idyllic surrounding gardens.
It has a master suite with private sitting area, his and hers bathrooms, state-of-the-art alarm system, gated entry, air conditioning and sprinkler system.
Armstrong had first put his home up for sale at the start of 2016 for £5.83m, but took it off the market after changing his mind.
He is now flogging the family home – where he lives with fiance Anna Hansen and his five kids – for a more modern upgrade.
Estate agent Laura Gottesman said: “$8.2 was more of a ‘make me an offer’ price.
“$7.5million is really where we can justify the valuation and it’s more appropriate for today’s market.”
