While Franck Ribery scored the other to maintain Ancelotti’s 100 per cent record since replacing Pep Guardiola in the Allianz Arena hotseat.

Inter came into this match in disarray with huge question marks over the futures of manager, Roberto Mancini and captain, Mauro Icardi — who is a target for Napoli and Arsenal.

Green, 21, opened the scoring in his native USA after seven minutes after he volleyed in David Alaba’s cross following some good play by Ribery.

And the Frenchman made it 2-0 just six minutes later.

Fabian Benko beat Inter defender, Miranda to the ball, and knocked it back to Ribery who smashed home from just outside the six-yard box.

Bayern were rampant and it was 3-0 on the half hour mark.

The Inter defence was all at sea as Danilo D’Ambrosio comically missed his header which allowed Ribery to run onto it and found Green, who scored his second of the game.

And it was party time for the American who completed his hat-trick five minutes later after more horrific Inter defending.

Rafinha was the provider this time as he found Green unmarked in the six-yard box to tap into an empty net.

Mancini’s men did finally have something to smile about as Icardi latched onto Alaba’s mistake to net a consolation on the 90 minute mark.
