James Haskell sees yellow after grabbing England and Lions team-mate Joe Marler by the throat because he was sprayed with water
WASPS star James Haskell completely lost his cool with Lions team-mate Joe Marler… after being splashed with water.
In a feisty affair against Harlequins, tempers boiled over when Marler grabbed the back of Haskell’s headgear.
Wasps flanker James Haskell loses his cool after Joe Marler sprays him with water
The pair went face-to-face and with Haskell grabbing his shirt, the England ace floored his international and Lions TEAM-MATE with Marler keeping a strong grip on his headgear.
With both players grappling on the ground, Haskell leaves his elbow in the face of Marler as their team-mates try and break up the ruckus.
But it didn't end there as Haskell was about to lose his rag before being sin-binned.
As the 32-year-old walked past Marler moments after the incident, he was sprayed in the face by his water bottle.
Haskell turns his attention back to Marler and grabs him by the throat with both hands before having to be separated yet again.
Instead of getting angry, Marler tried to further wind up Haskell by laughing in his face.

The referee called over Haskell after the incident and laid down the law by saying: "We had grappling by both players. We separated it and it was going to be a warning.
"You've then gone up to him afterwards..." before Haskell interrupted with his side of the story.
Furious, he said: "What, he sprayed water in my face, you're allowed to do that?
"Review it again, he sprayed water in my face and I reacted.
"And he choked me with my scrum cap, it's not allowed."
Haskell was then shown a yellow card whilst Marler could consider himself lucky to get of scot-free.
But the pair didn't stay angry at each other for long and hugged it out at the end as the Harlequins battled back to win 24-21.
