JOSE MOURINHO has set out his Christmas Day plans at Manchester United – including having his players in for extra training and sitting down for a hotel lunch.
The United boss will have a plush meal with his wife Matilde Faria and two teenage daughters at the luxury 5-star Lowry which he described as a “disaster”.
He also plans to have his Red Devil stars in for a workout at Carrington on Xmas morning – just 24 hours before their Boxing Day clash with Sunderland at Old Trafford.

The 53-year-old has been staying at the Lowry in Manchester City Centre since he was appointed United chief in the summer.
The ex-Chelsea and Real Madrid manager will be joined by his backroom team and their families at the hotel’s swanky River Room.
They’ll sit down for a four-course, £120 a head Christmas Lunch with champagne.
He has complained how his stay has been a “bit of a disaster” because it is hard to leave due to autograph hunters and photographers outside the campus.
Mourinho's predecessor Louis van Gaal gave his Manchester United squad Christmas Day off at home during his reign – but changed his mind at short notice last year.
The United players will head to the hotel on Christmas Day night and spend the evening with Mourinho before match-day.

A United source said: “All the lads and staff at Carrington expect to be in on Christmas morning.
“We’ll probably say a few prayers with the club chaplain and then train before shooting off home.
“The gaffer is a big family man and the word is he and the rest of the coaches will all be getting together at the hotel.”
Meanwhile, Mourinho’s problems at the hotel have got deeper after a team of archeologists moved in to dig up its grounds.
It’s emerged excavators have been drafted in after the remains of a potential old mill were unearthed.
United stars Paul Pogba and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are also resident at the hotel.
