FORMER Manchester United and England defender Paul Parker has warned Jose Mourinho that his “inappropriate” antics in the dugout are affecting his players.
Mourinho has been hit with an improper conduct charge by the FA after for the second time already this season, after his angry outburst during Sunday’s 1-1 draw with West Ham.

They have won just twice in their last ten league games and they stand 11 points behind leaders Chelsea and eight off a Champions League spot.
At home, the Red Devils were held to their fourth straight in what was a frustrating afternoon for the hosts – and Parker, who played over 100 times for the Old Trafford side, admits Mourinho’s struggles do not come as a surprise, and says the manager must curb his bad behaviour before he sees any improvement from his team on the pitch.
Speaking to talkSport, Parker said: “This was always likely to happen… everyone knew when he got the job that he would be a problem.

“He’s not going to stay quiet and he’s always got to be in the forefront.
“The problems he had at Chelsea were a dressing room issue, a man management issue, and that’s been brought to light at Manchester United as well.
“But something has got to change. This can’t carry on.
“If he doesn’t calm down he could be sent off another six times this season.
“What he’s doing on the sidelines is slowly having an effect on what’s happening on the pitch.
“If he wants his players to be right and do their job properly they need him to be doing his job properly, and that is to become a coach on the touchline and conduct yourself in an appropriate manner.
“That’s not happening at this moment in time.
“Manchester United need a steady ship and the players are saying all the right things about where the club is heading. The problem is they need the manager to be saying the right things, doing the right things and looking like someone who loves his job and can’t wait to get out there.
“But at the moment, Mourinho doesn’t look like someone who’s enjoying himself.”
It comes as United chief Ed Woodward will not take any action against the Portuguese, who was sent off for angrily kicking a water bottle on the touchline in Sunday’s draw at home to West Ham.
