EDDIE HEARN is plotting a shock bid to SIGN Deontay Wilder — and set up a £100million heavyweight fight with Anthony Joshua.
WBC champion Wilder was due to fly into Cardiff to work for Sky at Joshua’s unification showdown against Joseph Parker at the Principality Stadium on Saturday.
But despite wanting to fight the winner, Wilder has snubbed the trip, and will watch the undefeated world champions at home.
Hearn says Wilder has been badly advised.
But that will not stop the Matchroom Sport boss from trying to snap him up to a promotional deal.
Hearn, 38, said: “Imagine how big Deontay Wilder would be if he signed for us, in the heavyweight mix that we’ve got.

Joshua vs Parker: Tips and odds ahead of unification bout
ANTHONY JOSHUA has vowed to take his time and pick his shots, while Joseph Parker will be relying to land a big hit, writes Wally Downes Jr.
If AJ adopts his calculated approach, Parker will be on the back foot – but regardless of his tactics we back Joshua to win by stoppage.
And he could select his shots and KO the Kiwi in the later rounds.
But if Parker turns this bout into a scrap, which he needs to do, AJ could land his heavy right hand earlier on.

“Tony Bellew against David Haye, Joshua, Dillian Whyte. How could he not think that signing with us was a good idea?
“I could pay him probably double his highest-ever purse to face Whyte and then I could set up the Joshua fight very easily.

“And contractually he can do it because he doesn’t have a promotional agreement with anyone.”
WBA and IBF champion Joshua will add the WBO belt to his collection if he beats Parker in Cardiff.

That means a clash with Wilder would create the first heavyweight to hold all four major titles.
Hearn believes he could stage the richest heavyweight fight in history, beating the £73m from Lennox Lewis’ 2002 showdown with Mike Tyson.
Hearn said: “I would hope a Joshua-Wilder ight would generate over £100m. So Deontay, come to the party.”
