Juventus signing Douglas Costa from Bayern Munich as Brazilian superstar arrives in Turin for medical ahead of switch
BAYERN MUNICH star Douglas Costa is on the verge of signing for Juventus after landing in Turin for a medical.
The winger is surplus to requirements at the Allianz Arena following the two-year loan arrival of Real Madrid ace James Rodriguez.

Costa fell down the pecking order under Carlo Ancelotti last season and started just 14 league games.
Juventus have signed the winger on an initial £5million year-long loan, with a £35m obligation to buy clause that kicks in next summer.
Max Allegri used the same tactic to seal a deal for Costa’s former Bayern team-mate Medhi Benatia in May.
Rodriguez’s arrival on Tuesday means there’s even more competition for attacking places at Bayern.
And Costa has decided to instead opt for a move to Turin, where he’ll link up with the likes of Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain.
Juve fans will be hoping they now have enough firepower to seal European glory after losing in the Champions League final to Real Madrid last month.
