LADY Gaga has confirmed she WILL be performing during the 2017 NFL Super Bowl’s prestigious halftime show.
The Perfect Illusion hitmaker took to Twitter to make the announcement that she will be singing in the halftime bonanza during the final of the 51st annual American football championship.
The 30-year-old star, who has previously sung at the Oscars and the Grammys, is no stranger to the football field.
NFL bosses were interested in the singer following rave reviews of her performance at the 2016 Super Bowl - where she kicked off the event with a powerful rendition of the US national anthem.
Gaga, born Stefani Germanotta, described the moment as "one of the highlights of her career".

"I think it marks what being an American is all about."
The Super Bowl will take place on February 5, at the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.
The 2016 event saw Beyonce, Coldplay and Bruno Mars take to the stage for the championship's 50th anniversary.
Lady Gaga will be following in their footsteps, and those of Michael Jackson, the Rolling Stones, Madonna and Prince - all of whom have previously headlined the show.
