TWO of the greatest keepers of modern times have paid tribute to Gianluigi Buffon.
Buffon, 40, is a free agent after ending a 17-year spell at Juventus.
The veteran No 1 has hinted that he has a choice of offers if he decides to play on.
In the meantime, Bayern Munich stopper Manual Neuer and former Real Madrid hero Iker Casillas paid homage to the legendary Italian.
Both players posed in a Juventus shirt with Buffon’s name across the back.
Serie A champions Juve posted the shots on the club’s social media channels.

The pictures were part of the #UN1CO campaign by Juventus which marked Buffon’s send-off.
The Old Lady’s website added this tribute: “In football, there are a select few players who transcend a sport where rivalries and passions run so deep.

Buffon played 656 times for Juventus.

He has attracted enormous interest from Paris Saint-Germain, his old club Parma and, possibly, Liverpool, Manchester City and West Ham.
But, according to La Repubblica, PSG have trumped them all in the race for Buffon by offering him a four-year contract.
That would mean the goalkeeper could carry on playing until he is 44 if he saw out that deal in Paris.
