LEICESTER are battling to seal a £50million double deal for Sporting Lisbon duo Adrien Silva and Islam Slimani.
The pair looked set for a move to the King Power, only for Sporting to dig their heels in.
They rejected a £25m bid for striker Slimani and are unwilling to discuss a similar deal for midfielder Silva.
Slimani, 28, was in tears on Sunday at the end of the Porto game as he seemed to say goodbye.
But Sporting are demanding around £34m for the Algerian and Foxes are refusing to be held to ransom.
