Leo Santa Cruz is desperate to regain WBA featherweight title off Carl Frampton – and is just as fired up by Donald Trump plan to shut out Mexico
LEO SANTA CRUZ is being driven up the wall — in more ways than one.
The Mexican is spitting mad after losing his WBA featherweight crown to Carl Frampton last July and is hell bent on snatching it back here in Las Vegas tomorrow night.

And with US President Donald Trump announcing plans to build a wall along the Mexico border, Santa Cruz wants to make a stand for his homeland.
He said: “You know, it does concern me a little bit because Trump’s saying that he wants to kick out all the Mexicans, the Latin people and the people that are immigrants.
“I wouldn’t like for them to deport my family — my dad, my mom and a lot of other family that I have.”
Three-weight world champ Santa Cruz, 28, is a class act who, like Belfast boxer Frampton, always puts family first.
Dad Jose, who also acts as his trainer, was missing for most of the build-up to the first fight as he battled cancer.
But with his old man on the mend and in his corner again, Santa Cruz is ready to win back his title.
He added: “My family have been a big inspiration, I have seen them suffer but that makes me more motivated.”
