Lewis Hamilton’s dreadful early season form taking its toll as he looks like 80-year old man

Lewis Hamilton’s terrible start to his F1 title defence certainly looks to have taken its toll.

The Brit looks like a frail 80-year-old in these pictures, done as a PR stunt for insurance firm Allianz.

Hamilton, who stopped the rot with his first win in SEVEN MONTHS in Monaco, is now looking to use his experience to add to that victory this weekend in Canada.

He said: “I feel positive coming here but I am conscious of how the season has gone so far.

“It would be wrong to arrive all excited and thinking everything’s going to go great again just because we had one win.

“I am conscious there are potholes that we could easily manoeuvre past but we could also easily fall into them.

“I am conscious of those bumps that are potentially ahead, but if we have a smooth weekend, then that would be amazing.”

Hamilton’s win in Monte Carlo and Nico Rosberg’s lowly seventh-place finish has reduced the German’s lead in the championship to just 24 points.

Rosberg has never won at this track yet Hamilton is refusing to get carried away by his own impressive record at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, having won four of the last eight GPs held here in.

He added: “I don’t feel like I have any advantage over Nico, so I don’t feel any different.

“There are tracks that come more naturally than others and this is a good track for me, so hopefully I should be able to capitalise on that this weekend.

“But weather’s all over the place. I’ve had bad races here as well, hence I arrive here feeling the same as all the other drivers.

“So I don’t think it changes anything with my approach. I will still continue to drive the way I have done all season and how I did in the last race.”

Hamilton warmed up for this weekend’s GP hanging out with singer Justin Bieber and footballer Neymar.

He also jetted to Cleveland to watch the Cavaliers in their third game of the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors.

And the 31 year-old says F1 could learn a lot from the NBA game in terms of putting on a show for the fans.

He said: “I had a good week. It was good to go to a soccer game and hang with Neymar and Justin and I then got to go to the NBA game, which was great.

“The NBA game was by far and away the best atmosphere I have ever experienced. It was so spectacular.

“Formula One can definitely learn from the shows the Americans put on. Every few minutes someone was getting an award and then there was music, and girls dancing — it was all so energetic.”
